<yandex:full-text>
Sunhit, a solar power plant installation company, and LONGi Solar Europe hosted a professional B2B forum for partners, aimed at promoting the wider adoption of high-efficiency back-contact technology in the Armenian market and supporting the growing demand for reliable, high-performance solar energy solutions across the country.

The event concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaffirming and strengthening the long-term strategic partnership between Sunhit and LONGi Solar, under which Sunhit continues to serve as LONGi Solar's official partner in Armenia.

"As we continue advancing the development of solar energy systems, Sunhit is elevating its long-standing cooperation with LONGi Solar to a strategic level. We remain committed to offering Armenian businesses favorable solutions that help improve their operations. The terms provided by our LONGi partners, combined with the quality of their solar panels, are among the best available in Armenia," said Tigran Vardanyan, Founder and CEO of Sunhit.

The Hi-MO X10 product line is LONGi's most advanced Hybrid Passivated Back Contact 2.0 module, designed for commercial and distributed solar power generation projects.

By relocating all electrical contacts to the rear of the cell, the underlying HPBC 2.0 technology (Hybrid Passivate Back Contact) eliminates front-side electrode shading entirely, maximizing the active surface area exposed to sunlight and unlocking significantly higher energy yields than conventional module designs. As a result, the module offers up to 670 W of power output, a 24.8% module efficiency, and a 26.6% cell efficiency.

“Our partnership with Sunhit provides a strong local foundation built on technical expertise and market understanding,” said Adrian Kočan, General Manager of LONGi Solar Eastern Europe Business Center (DG). “Through this collaboration, we are working to make high-efficiency back contact technology accessible in Armenia and to support the continued development of a market that is evolving at a remarkable pace.” During the forum, ACBA Leasing, Armenia's leading leasing company, presented financing opportunities available through the GEFF program, enabling businesses to receive up to 15% cashback when purchasing solar power plants. This makes solar investments even more financially attractive.

Nairi Insurance, Armenia's longest-established insurance company, the country's only insurer with an international credit rating (Moody's B1, Stable Outlook), and the market leader based on its 2025 results, also introduced its exclusive solar power plant insurance package.

Customers purchasing a photovoltaic solar system from Sunhit will receive a complimentary 12-month insurance policy from Nairi Insurance, covering a wide range of risks, including fire, hail, strong winds, flooding, theft, and more. The offer applies regardless of the purchase financing method.

"We continuously monitor market developments and design products that respond to our customers' evolving needs. Solar energy is developing rapidly in Armenia. While creating this insurance solution, we carefully studied the market and customer demand and, together with Sunhit, developed a product that clearly benefits consumers," said Gevorg Voskanyan, Deputy CEO of Nairi Insurance.

***

About Sunhit

Driven by innovation and a commitment to technological progress, Sunhit was established in 2024, bringing together a team of professionals with more than 10 years' experience in the design and installation of solar power systems.

The company's experts apply their extensive knowledge to support Sunhit's growth and expansion while contributing to Armenia's sustainable economic development. To date, the team has installed solar power plants with a combined capacity exceeding 15 MW.

Sunhit is the official partner of LONGi Solar in Armenia.

Sunhit's photovoltaic solutions harness solar energy to power homes and businesses while helping customers achieve significant savings that can be redirected toward other investment opportunities.

                                <yandex:full-text>
Converse Bank has been named Armenia’s Best Digital Bank for Consumers by the internationally renowned financial publication Euromoney, receiving the prestigious recognition at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026 ceremony held in London on 16 July.

The award was accepted by Grant Akopian, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of Converse Bank.

Commenting on the recognition, Grant Akopian said:

"Receiving this prestigious Euromoney award is a strong recognition of the consistent efforts and dedication of the Converse Bank team. Our digital transformation strategy is centred not on technology itself, but on people—our customers. We continuously enhance both the customer experience and the Bank’s internal processes by developing digital solutions that create real value, making banking more personalised, faster, simpler and more secure."

Converse Bank received the award in recognition of its achievements in digital banking and customer experience.

As part of its digital transformation strategy, Converse Bank has further enhanced its Converse Mobile application by delivering Armenia’s first personalised mobile banking experience. The enhanced application enables customers to complete the entire customer onboarding journey digitally, activate and manage C360 subscription packages, apply for loans, save, make payments and transfers, connect digital wallets, perform QR payments, as well as customise both the application interface and colour mode according to their selected C360 package.

The Bank’s digital transformation journey is supported by a strong focus on seamless customer experience and continuous improvement, measured through customer satisfaction indicators such as CES and CSAT. Throughout the development of its digital solutions, Converse Bank has consistently prioritised high security standards. The Bank was the first in Armenia to introduce the Trusted Device security feature, as well as biometric identification mechanisms in the lending process to strengthen fraud prevention.

Alongside the development of its digital platforms, Converse Bank continues to invest in advisory and customer support services as an integral part of modern banking. In July 2025, the Bank launched Converse Next, Armenia’s first fully digital bank branch. The concept combines financial advisory services with a digital banking experience, creating a new synergy between digital channels and physical branches, while positioning the branch as a centre for modern financial advisory and digital banking guidance.

The Bank also operates a 24/7 Contact Centre, providing continuous customer support, including assistance with digital banking tools and prompt resolution of customer enquiries.

Converse Bank has also introduced a redesigned digital lending journey, significantly reducing the time required for loan processing. Customer interactions, including contractual processes, are now conducted predominantly in digital format, while Converse Next operates entirely paper-free.

Building on this achievement, Converse Bank will continue advancing its digital transformation agenda by investing in innovation, expanding its digital services and delivery channels to provide customers with a more convenient, secure and personalised banking experience.

Converse Bank is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
</yandex:full-text>

                                <yandex:full-text>
The beloved and widely recognized film festival, the “Golden Apricot”, has kicked off in Yerevan for the 23rd time. For guests arriving in Yerevan from abroad, the festival will be presented with new, interesting and multifaceted layers and will serve as a window opening in the cinema hall. The message of the next festival is unique and important: expect not an explanation from cinema, but a revelation. At its core is the desire to discover, feel and reinterpret the world from another, emotional perspective.

The main poster of the “Golden Apricot” Film Festival this year is dedicated to poetry. The Yerevan summer promises to turn into an honest and profound revelation of worldview through the combination of cinema and poetry. The author of the main poster is the world-renowned artist and designer Igor Gurovich, whose works have repeatedly been in the spotlight and have received international acclaim. Gurovich’s work suggests that cinema and poetry should be considered as a space of creative freedom and human sensitivity. Competition films from different countries of the world, including the most prestigious ones, Cannes, Berlin and other film festivals, will be screened for a week.

Representatives of various agencies, heads of partner organizations, cultural figures, the Founding President of the festival Harutyun Khachatryan, the festival’s Managing and Artistic Director Karen Avetisyan, honored guests from abroad and others participated in the official opening of the 23rd “Golden Apricot”.

For the 15th time, the main partner of the prestigious film festival, which brings a unique touch to the cultural events of Armenia, is Viva. The festival kicked off with Tamara Stepanyan’s film “In the Land of Arto”.

“The importance of art can only be articulated in the language of art. Humanity needs it not just for expression, but for development. The greats of all times remind us of this. Dante and Brodsky are separated by six centuries, but the two presented different sides of the same truth. Dante suggests that the world moves with the power of love, and Brodsky suggests that man strives for his highest calling through poetry. Art is the language of love. I am glad to note that Viva has been striving to convey an important message to people for 15 years through this film festival,” said Armen Avetisian, General Director of Viva.

“Poetry is not just rhyme and rhythm. It is a language of expression of human experience, feelings and thoughts, which allows us to see the world from a new perspective. With this year’s poster, the film festival invites the audience not only to watch art, but also to live within it, to be sensitive, curious and open to the world, to become a part of the poetic space of cinema,” said the festival’s Managing and Artistic Director Karen Avetisyan.

During the festival, world-renowned authors, directors, actors and experts in the field will be in Armenia, to share their experience and art to the Armenian audience, creating an exclusive platform for dialogue, new ideas and cultural exchange.

The president of the 23rd “Golden Apricot” International Jury is Jessica Hausner. <yandex:full-text>
Feel 5G+ in Yerevan and six Regions - Viva announces the launch of Armenia's first and only 5G+ network in Yerevan and in the cities of the Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, and Aragatsotn regions. In the next phase of the project, Viva will continue expanding its 5G+ network, ensuring its availability in all cities across Armenia by the end of the year. Gradually, 5G+ network will be made available to village communities and other populated areas.

The key advantage of 5G+ over previous generations of mobile technology, including conventional 5G, extends beyond higher speeds, lower latency, and the ability to connect significantly more devices simultaneously within a single network. Built on enhanced network intelligence and advanced 5G capabilities, 5G+ provides the infrastructure required to support a new generation of digital services. It enables more sophisticated AI-powered applications, massive IoT deployments, real-time data processing at the network edge, and immersive experiences based on virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. In doing so, 5G+ transforms the network from a connectivity platform into a foundation for intelligent digital services and Industry 4.0.

Global experience demonstrates that large-scale deployment of 5G+ has a significant impact on countries' economies, competitiveness, and digital ecosystems. It was this strategic vision that drove Viva's acquisition of the largest radio spectrum resources in Armenia's history.

Viva now has twice the spectrum resources it previously held, made possible by the largest investment in radio spectrum acquisition in the Company's history. Securing the rights to use the radio frequencies allocated for the 5G has created the spectrum foundation required for the deployment of a standalone 5G+ network and the introduction of next-generation digital services and solutions.

The deployment of the 5G+ network in Yerevan was carried out with Nokia's advanced connectivity support, while the rollout across the Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, and Aragatsotn regions’ towns was implemented with Ericsson's technological solutions and technical expertise.

The 5G+ network enables Viva to develop innovative digital services that will benefit both individual subscribers and businesses.

The areas expected to generate the greatest economic impact through the combined use of 5G/5G+, IoT, and Artificial Intelligence include:

Industrial robotics;

Smart factories and predictive maintenance;

Smart agriculture;

Smart water management;

Smart cities;

Digital twins.

5G+ also creates the foundation for a new generation of digital services. These include AI-powered smart calls, where speech can be translated into the recipient's preferred language in real time and accompanied by on-screen subtitles, as well as cloud smartphones, where the device's computing resources and applications are hosted within the operator's cloud infrastructure, enhancing both device performance and the overall user experience.

Global experience also shows that 5G+ infrastructure can accelerate the development of autonomous transportation, remote healthcare services, smart manufacturing, and other advanced digital economy solutions.

The evolution of 5G+ is also expected to fundamentally reshape the business model of telecommunications operators. Fifth-generation connectivity enables Artificial Intelligence capabilities to be deployed directly within the network, delivering near-instant response times and enhanced performance. This approach will allow operators to gradually evolve from connectivity providers into platforms delivering real-time digital services and AI-powered solutions.

"We expect the positive impact of 5G+ deployment to be reflected both in the enhanced quality of services delivered to individual subscribers and in the digital transformation of various sectors of the economy. International experience shows that organizations operating in logistics, retail, manufacturing, and smart city environments can significantly improve their operational efficiency by implementing IoT, Artificial Intelligence, robotics, digital twins, and autonomous transportation solutions. We are confident that 5G+ will become a major catalyst for the next stage of Armenia's digital transformation," said Armen Avetisian, the General Director of Viva.

"Everyone who becomes a Viva subscriber between July 14 and August 14, 2026 (inclusive) at Viva service centers located in cities and villages covered by the 5G+ network will receive a complimentary 50 GB mobile internet package," added Viva's General Director.

"Providing seamless 5G+ coverage across the entire city of Yerevan presented a significant engineering challenge due to its complex terrain, which includes both lowland and elevated areas. Our objective was to deliver the same high level of service quality across all administrative districts, regardless of geographical conditions. We are pleased that today 5G+ is available throughout Yerevan—a city that is home to nearly half of Armenia's population. This represents another important milestone in the country's digital infrastructure journey. We are confident that the infrastructure created in partnership with Viva will serve as the foundation for advanced connectivity to support next-generation digital services, including AI-based services, and innovative solutions that will benefit Armenia's economy and society," said Erensoy Bilgin, Vice President Central Europe, Turkey and Central Asia at Nokia.

"The deployment of 5G+ marks an important milestone in the development of Armenia's digital infrastructure. It creates new opportunities for the digital transformation of various sectors of the economy by enabling innovative services and solutions for both consumers and businesses. The expansion of the 5G+ network across towns of Armenia's regions will improve access to advanced digital services and contribute to more balanced digital development throughout the country. We are confident that this project, implemented in partnership with Viva, will provide an important foundation for the next generation of Armenia's digital economy," said Gevorg Ayvazyan, Country Manager/Account Director Armenia, at Ericsson.

Viva's dedication to innovation and excellence in connectivity is evident in their impressive speeds and reliability, setting them apart in Armenia” said Stephen Bye, President and CEO of Ookla. “It is with great pleasure that we present Viva with the Speedtest Award for Fastest Mobile Network during 1H 2026 in Armenia. Viva's dedication to innovation and excellence in connectivity is evident in their impressive speeds and reliability, and Ookla is proud to celebrate their success.”
</yandex:full-text>

                                <yandex:full-text>
“Viva Armenia” CJSC announces the signing of an agreement to acquire the shares of “GNC-ALFA” CJSC, operating under the Ovio brand.

The transaction represents a strategic step in Viva's development and is aimed at establishing a fully converged platform that will integrate mobile communications, fixed Internet, television, telecommunication transport infrastructure, and digital services into a single ecosystem.

Viva's key strategic advantage lies in digital convergence — a model in which mobile, fixed, content, cloud, and other digital services are integrated into comprehensive customer solutions.

The addition of a fully-fledged fixed-line segment to Viva's portfolio will enable the Company not only to strengthen its infrastructure foundation but also to reach a new level of product leadership by achieving maximum diversification of its product portfolio.

The integration of Ovio will expand Viva's capabilities in the fixed services segment, strengthen the Company's fiber-optic, cable, and radio relay infrastructure, and provide the foundation for building a more powerful, resilient, and efficient nationwide telecommunications transport network. The integration of the companies' assets will enable Viva to launch converged products more rapidly, develop more attractive bundled offers, and expand new digital business opportunities for residential, corporate, and public sector customers.

Of high importance is the modern certified data center, which will strengthen Viva's infrastructure capabilities in cloud services, data storage, and data processing. Having its own data center will provide the company with an additional foundation for developing next-generation services, including solutions powered by artificial intelligence and other advanced digital technologies.

"The acquisition of Ovio is of long-term strategic importance to Viva and is fully aligned with the company's course toward digital transformation, business diversification, and strengthening its technology leadership. Our strategic advantage lies in digital convergence. We are consistently building an ecosystem in which mobile communications, fixed internet, television, cloud, content, and other digital services operate as a seamless whole. Establishing and developing our own fixed network infrastructure will enable Viva to significantly strengthen not only its infrastructure capabilities but also its product leadership by ensuring maximum diversification of its product portfolio and delivering a new level of customer experience," said Armen Avetisian, General Director of Viva.

The integration of Viva's and Ovio's network infrastructure will increase network capacity, improve data transmission speeds, and enhance the quality and reliability of communications. Unified network management will enable faster service provisioning for residential and business customers, more efficient development of base station infrastructure, and accelerated deployment of next-generation communications technologies.

The transaction is also of strategic importance for Armenia's telecommunications resilience. Expanding and diversifying international Internet traffic routes will strengthen the country's connectivity with the global digital infrastructure and improve the reliability and resilience of communications, including during periods of increased network load and emergency situations.

Ovio subscribers will continue to receive services under their existing terms and conditions. Viva will ensure uninterrupted service delivery, maintain the quality of communications, and continue enhancing the customer experience within the integrated infrastructure.

                                <yandex:full-text>
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is set to launch a new AMD 5 billion floating-rate bond issuance in the Armenian capital market, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the development of local currency financing and deepening Armenia’s financial markets.

The bond placement is scheduled to take place on 7 July 2026 through an auction on the Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX).

Converse Bank has been appointed as the underwriter. As one of the leading participants in Armenian capital market, Converse Bank has successfully arranged and placed numerous corporate bond issues in recent years. The EBRD bond offering represents another significant milestone for the Bank, highlighting its expertise in capital markets transactions and investment solutions.

The bonds will have a maturity of 36 months and will pay a floating coupon linked to the 6-month Treasury Bills yield. The coupon rate will be reset every six months, enabling investors to benefit from changes in the interest rate environment while maintaining a market-based return profile.

The issuance of AMD-denominated bonds by the EBRD is an important development for Armenian financial system. Such instruments contribute to the growth of the local currency capital market, support the development of long-term funding sources, and further strengthen the participation of international financial institutions in the domestic market. At the same time, investors gain access to securities issued by a highly rated international financial institution with a return linked to prevailing market conditions.

Following the completion of the placement, the bonds are expected to be listed on the Armenia Securities Exchange. In addition, the necessary procedures will be initiated to enable the bonds to be eligible for repo transactions with the Central Bank of Armenia. This is expected to further enhance the bonds’ liquidity and attractiveness in the secondary market.

Investors may participate in the auction through investment service providers that are members of the Armenia Securities Exchange.

                                <yandex:full-text>
While the Constitutional Court is still examining the results of the 2026 parliamentary elections, the ruling Civil Contract party has already announced its candidates for Speaker, Deputy Speaker and head of the parliamentary faction. The opposition has criticized the move, arguing that distributing positions is inappropriate before the Constitutional Court issues its final ruling.

According to political analyst Armen Badalyan, the government’s actions reflect its confidence that the Constitutional Court’s decision will not alter the political situation.

“The leader of the Civil Contract party, Nikol Pashinyan, has already stated that, regardless of the Constitutional Court’s decision, there will be no new elections. The current composition of the Constitutional Court was not approved to make independent decisions. We must remember that since 1996, when the opposition first challenged election results, the Constitutional Court has always ruled in favor of the incumbent authorities. Only after the 2003 presidential election did it propose holding a vote of confidence, but that initiative was rejected by the second president,” Badalyan said in an interview with Aysor.am.

According to him, the experience of the past 35 years shows that the Constitutional Court has consistently sided with the incumbent authorities in election-related cases.

“Therefore, we can say that the Prime Minister already knows what decision the Constitutional Court will make, which is why they have started distributing positions. The Civil Contract has a clear program and is pursuing it consistently. The opposition has no program; it acts according to the moment, trying to play by the ruling party’s rules and defeat the Civil Contract, but it cannot. The Civil Contract has its own strategy and program. Whether it is legal or not is another matter – no one seems to care, and society is not particularly interested either,” he said.

Badalyan also said he finds it strange that the opposition calls on its supporters to protest outside the Constitutional Court, yet only a few hundred people attend:

“This once again shows that the opposition does not have its own rules of the game. It is trying to prove something in the Constitutional Court that may be true, but it will not be able to prove it. The opposition does not acknowledge its mistakes and seems to believe it is always right. It has a serious problem communicating with the public. It is pursuing a deeply flawed strategy, and it is difficult to achieve results that way.”
</yandex:full-text>

I exclude that Armenia will refuse to sign the Association Agreement with the EU; this is not possible, especially now, when the people of Armenia have clearly expressed support for the policy pursued by Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a joint press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Yerevan.

                                <yandex:full-text>
As Armenia moves closer to the European Union, the South Caucasus moves closer as well. Open borders will transform Armenia’s economic future, anchoring the country at the crossroads of global connectivity, and the EU is ready to help turn that vision into reality, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.

“That is why I have announced a new €200 million Global Gateway package dedicated to building peace through connectivity. Together with our financial partners, we are ready to mobilize up to €2 billion for strategic transport links, energy connections and digital projects across the South Caucasus. In Armenia, this can support ongoing and planned projects, including border crossings and road infrastructure,” von der Leyen said.

She noted that Armenia continues to face significant economic pressure from Russia, which she said is “almost bordering on economic violence,” and stressed that the European Union is stepping up its support.

“When the pressure on our partners builds up, the EU steps in and takes action. Armenia will soon receive an additional €18 million aimed at strengthening and diversifying trade. This funding could, for example, be used to establish an export promotion agency to boost the export capacity of Armenian businesses. The €18 million is the final tranche of the €52 million support package announced in early June,” von der Leyen said.
</yandex:full-text>

                                <yandex:full-text>
A corresponding decision was adopted at a session chaired by Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) Chairman Mesrop Mesropyan, under which natural gas tariffs for residential consumers in Armenia will remain unchanged.

Based on the methodology for calculating regulated tariffs in the gas supply system, the commission reviewed tariffs as part of the tariff revision process. Following an assessment of all positive and negative factors affecting pricing, the tariffs for natural gas transportation, distribution, and gas supply system operator services were revised, without affecting payments by residential consumers.

As a result, natural gas tariffs for residential subscribers will remain unchanged. The decision will enter into force on August 1, 2026.
</yandex:full-text>

                                <yandex:full-text>
The challenge to the election results at the Constitutional Court is entering its final phase. At today’s hearing, the parties will deliver their closing arguments, after which the court will retire to deliberate before issuing its ruling.

The Strong Armenia bloc will be the first to present its closing arguments, followed by the other applicants, the related respondents, the third party, and the respondent.

Aram Vardevanyan, a representative of Strong Armenia, told reporters outside the Constitutional Court that the court is expected to issue its decision “by July 4, at the latest.”
Responding to claims by lawmakers from the Civil Contract faction that the application is unfounded and “has no life,” Vardevanyan said the ruling party could hardly be expected to argue otherwise.

“And why don’t the authorities want the election results to be recognized as invalid? The answer is very clear: because the resource that has been used for electoral fraud will be difficult to use again. That resource, as such, is expendable,” he said.
</yandex:full-text>

                                <yandex:full-text>
Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with Armenia in resolving the issue of missing persons, Deputy Head of the State Security Service Sharafat Hasanov said.

According to APA, Hasanov made the remarks at the international conference entitled “Modern Approaches to Resolving the Issue of Missing Persons and Strengthening Cooperation,” held within the framework of cooperation with the International Commission on Missing Persons.

“The fate of our citizens who went missing as a result of Armenia’s military aggression against Azerbaijan has been seriously affected not only by the destruction of infrastructure, settlements, landscapes, terrain, and even cemeteries due to mines and unexploded ordnance during the 30-year occupation of the territories, as well as acts of vandalism, but also by the Armenian side’s failure to provide information about the locations of burial sites.

It is known that high-ranking Armenian military officials interviewed after the 44-day Second Karabakh War, including former Armenian Deputy Defense Minister General Garik Melkonyan, former National Assembly deputy Samvel Babayan, and others, have repeatedly stated that they possess information about the burial sites of missing Azerbaijani servicemen, but this information has still not been provided to the Azerbaijani side. Moreover, former Armenian Deputy Defense Minister General Manvel Grigoryan openly admitted in media interviews that he personally held Azerbaijani prisoners of war. We believe that all of this, in addition to contradicting the generally accepted principles of humanity, poses a threat to the norms of international humanitarian law.

The Republic of Azerbaijan is open to the world in resolving the issue of missing persons, and we reaffirm our readiness to cooperate with the Armenian side in this area,” he noted.

The new system being developed will allow citizens of Azerbaijan and Armenia to confidentially provide information about missing persons, including burial sites.

“The information will be used exclusively for humanitarian purposes, and the person providing the information will not be held liable under any circumstances. The goal of the system is to contribute to clarifying the fate of missing persons,” he said.
</yandex:full-text>

The organization thereby refers to Tel Aviv’s military and military-technical support to Azerbaijan during the Artsakh war.

ARF Dashnaktsutyun also cites numerous testimonies regarding genocide in Gaza committed by the Israeli state.
The decision was also commented on by the leader of the Armenian community of Jerusalem, Hakob Jernazyan, who stated that Israel had the opportunity to recognize the Armenian Genocide earlier on moral grounds but failed to do so.
